چکیده
Giuseppe Ungaretti, nascut a Alexandria d’Egipte el 1888, i mort Milà 1970, -es un dels poetes més importants del segle XX italià. De la seva abundant producció poètica, traductor, Lluís Servera Sitjar, ha triat recull Il dolore (1947), sorgit arran de seu fill Antonietto, nou anys, al Brasil. Un dolor íntim, fruit circumstàncies personals ben desafortunades, que es combina, en pla poètic, amb universal pels fets envoltaren segona guerra mundial. És, segons mateix autor, llibre s’estimava, va escriure “en els anys horribles, nus gola”. D’aquest recull, traductor escollit per revista TRANSFER quatre poemes, ens presenta continuació traducció català: “Tutto ho perduto” (“Tot he perdut”), “Tu ti spezzasti” (“Tu et desferes”), “Folli miei passi” (“Folls, meus passos”), “I ricordi” (“Els records”). Autor diversos reculls poesia, com ara El desgel memòria (Centre Cultural Capaltard 2001) Els caires claror 2004), Sitjar traduït altres escriptors italians, entre quals Mario Luzi (La Passió: Via Crucis Colosseu, Lleonard Muntaner Editor 2010), Pietro Civitareale (Mitografies dèries, Edicions Documenta Balea 2012).
